Ingredients:
1,5 kg Cleaned, cubed Watermelon
20 g Garlic
50g Toasted sesame seeds
5 g Sesame Oil
50g Soy Sauce
2 g Chilli Flakes
4 g Shredded Nori Sheet
20 ml Fish Sauce
20g Oil
Method:
Clean watermelon and cut into large cubes, also try to get all seeds out.
Mix all ingredients which fall under 2.
Marinate the watermelon in a sealable Ziploc bag for minimum of 6 hours
Drain marinade, but reserve marinade for later use, place watermelon onto a tray lined with greaseproof paper and roast @ 180°C for 60 – 90 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Add garlic to leftover marinade and reduce down to a glaze.
Remove watermelon from pan and while still hot place watermelon in glace.
Roll in toasted sesame seeds.
